[ Personality ] :
A very compassionate girl, Usagi is a person with a giant heart. She forgives easily and doesn't hold grudges. She loves making friends and spending time just chilling in a mall, the beach or somewhere that is not school. She is not exactly the most smartest person in the world, but she is able to hold her ground when dealing with otherworldly creatures and monsters from the dark kingdom. A girl with a light personality, she enjoys everyday hobbies such as reading manga, eating sweets and playing games. She is not very adept at studying, but she makes up for it with her kindness and innocence.
In the beginning of the series, Usagi is shown to be very unintelligent, getting a F on her math test in which she tosses at her future boyfriend, Mamoru Chiba. She can get irritable when anyone comments on her supposed lack of brains and immaturity. She is also shown to be quite irresponsible and unable to hold her own when it came to fighting the baddies. This constitutes as her being unable to protect herself and being constantly in need of someone to save her. She is portrayed as a typical blond-haired damsel in distress.
However, as the series progresses, her lack of intelligence actually contributes to her actual nature, which is innocence and naivety. She slowly learns to leave her immature side behind and develop into a mature lady, although she is still prone to immaturity once in a while. She becomes more mature with the help of her friends, and learns to accept her destiny as a sailor soldier as well as the moon princess. Because she understands that she understands she cannot run away from her responsibility, and if she does, a lot of people will be in danger.
In the beginning, she is portrayed as a crybaby who is not able to do anything by herself. Her character develops when she befriends the inner senshis, and with the help of her friends, she realizes that their responsibility of saving earth is a large one. Although she tends to drag behind her senshis, she feels her duty as Sailor Moon is not something that can be ignored. However, her sense of duty heightened when she found out that she was the princess, and being the princess of the moon, she feels that she will always be compared to Serenity. With that comparison in mind, she strives to become the princess she once was because Serenity was a responsible, graceful and honourable princess, while she, as Usagi, doesn't have those traits. In her mind, she felt pressured because she is not at all like her past self.
Once the past has been revealed, her duty heightened, her senses alert because of the situation she was in (that the dark kingdom was after her crystal), she strives to protect all humanity and her friends from danger. She faces the dark queen as Serenity, and with the help of the spirits of her senshis, she defeated the evil queen. At that moment, she realizes that she cannot do everything by herself and calls out her friends to help her. She is striven by friendship (the death of the friends) and love (the death of her lover, Endymion).
In the second season, she was striven by love to become more mature. She starts to shed her crybaby side away, taking up the duty of Sailor Moon when the rest of the town was attacked. Chasing after Mamoru (who had no memories of his past at the time), her desire of making everything well again heightened much more. With the appearance of the Moonlight Knight, she notices his uncanny resemblance to Mamoru as well as Endymion, although she was never quite sure. During this season, she was also striven by Chibi-usa and another form of herself, Neo Queen Serenity, the mother of Chibi-usa. Wanting to be more of a mother figure to Chibi-usa, she strives for maturity, and the pressure of becoming just like her future self (as the queen) helped her mature.
In the third and fourth season, she was driven by friendship to evolve into a more mature person. With the appearance of the outer senshis, she realizes how childlike she really was and the maturity that the outer senshi really struck her. She was never able to befriend properly the outer senshi, Uranus and Neptune, and felt as though it was her own fault and her childishness which denied the process. Despite herself, she displayed heroic and selfless sacrifices and won the trust and the friendship of the outer senshi, as well as gaining her title as the Messiah of Light. She was thought of to be naive and too trusting by the outers, but when her trust and her naivety saved Saturn, she earned their trust as well as their respect. She was also driven by her love for Chibi-Usa in the fourth season, striving to protect her future daughter from harm and gaining the trust of the evil minions of the dark moon circus as well as the amazon quartets.
The fifth season was the season in which she matured the most. With the absence of her lover, Mamoru, she was pushed to become mature at a rather fast rate because of the lack of letters Mamoru sent her. Unknown to her, Mamoru never actually made it to America, and was dead the whole time. However, she never gave up hope on Mamoru, believing that her love for him would eventually elicit a reply from him. New senshis came to Earth, and never actually bothered to befriend Sailor Moon and the rest of the solar system senshis. She was bothered by this lack of trust and friendship that she almost forced herself to grow, eventually growing from that semi-responsible soldier to a mature student in high school. During this season, her friends were quite worried about her, but she told them not to worry because she did not want to bother her friends with her trouble. She kept more of her troubles to herself during the last season, and broke down only in the middle of the plot line. She eventually voices out her troubles and what bothered her, which caused the new sailors (the starlights) to see her in a different light. She did not bother caring about herself and threw herself where danger's at to protect her friends. With her love and unwillingness to kill, she had her last encounter with Chaos, and eventually sealing the evil and revived her friends with the power of her crystal and love.
She is the type of girl who would put her friends' safety before her own, and as a selfless woman, she looks out for her friends and is quick to defend them if anyone attempts to threaten or hurt her friends. Although she doesn't have any good tactic for battle and mainly leans on her friend Ami for help, she gets down to business and finish what she starts. She doesn't give up easily, and fights with all that she has, especially when it comes to the safety of the world.
She relies on the power of love to save the day, and believes that love is able to cure everything. She has a lot of love for earth, and strives to protect all that she loves with every fiber of her being. Her good-nature and her innocence has struck the hearts of many people, as she accepts everyone, even if the person has wronged her before. Because she doesn't hold grudges, she is able to befriend villains and change them with her kindheartedness. She believes that everyone has the right to be given a second chance in life, and puts her all into healing everyone, even at the expense of herself.
She can be rather immature sometimes, often bickering with her future daughter, Chibi-Usa, however, she truly loves the pink-haired girl and will do anything to protect her. Sometimes, she can be a little insensitive, but she means no harm from it, and feels guilty when she hurts people's feelings. She is also known to be a crybaby at times, but she tries not to cry in front of others, seen in the middle of the last season of the anime. She tries not to cause other people to worry about her, because she knows that she will end up troubling her friends. She keeps trouble to herself, and deals with it accordingly. (which is shown to be rather effective, although she does snap and break down if it gets too much).
She loves to eat sweets and pig out on foods, but she hates carrots. She's known for eating cake, candy, ice cream, and anything sweet in general. She also loves cute things and little animals, as well. She's horrible at cooking, and it is known that she is capable of burning even water. Her inability to cool is quite impressive, although her dream is to become a bride. She is loyal to the man she loves (which is Mamoru) and is pretty much love-stricken when it comes to him. She is open with public displays of affection, although her boyfriend seems to think otherwise.

[ Other Important Facts ] :
Her transformation sequence along with the assigned weapons are all taken out of the silver crystal, which is a jewel encased within her, a power gem summoned from her body itself. She is able to summon the crystal at will, however, it will not be without drawbacks where a large quantity of energy will be devoted to the summoning and otherwise powers she might conjure up. One of her major powers is extremely fast regenerating skills as well as massive healing skills to boot. Her healing power does take a large quantity of energy out of her, however, that can be resolved by sleep and rest for the most part. However, in Vatheon, she will be required to touch the coral one a day.
[ Sample ] :
There is just a bit of stumbling around on her part, Usagi takes a few steps away from where she is standing and just paces around the place. Surely, it's a new environment, and one that she doesn't recognize. To her own surprise, she's soaking wet—wait, it wasn't raining earlier, so what the heck happened here? Somehow, there is a gap in her memory, which is odd even for her. Of course, sitting out on the beach to start with doesn't exactly fit well with her agenda of the day, and definitely not with her agenda of her life. Never has she ever come across an odd place such as this!
Not to mention, there is this...odd mark on her body! Well, being on the inside of her wrist isn't that bad, but still, it's not a very pretty mark. Plus, her parents would be very against her getting a tattoo like this! It's not even a heart! She rubs at the mark, and finds that it doesn't hurt. Wait, aren't tattoos supposed to hurt? She attempts to rub the mark out with her soaking wet clothes, but to no avail, the mark stays in tact on her body. She grimaces, and eyes the mark very skeptically. So much for trying to get a tattoo in her colour and shape.
Maybe Setsuna is playing around with the time gates? Surely, the woman isn't that bored, is she? She keeps on a rather sheepish chuckling face, and for her, being optimistic is one of her strong points, for sure. Well, one thing is for sure, she had better start consulting her communicator to see if anything's up. Or something.
Oh right, she forgot—she landed in the water some time earlier. Brooding a bit, she checks out the tiny piece of technology tucked in her skirt pocket (it's amazing the things they embroider on the skirts nowadays) and shakes free of the water on the screen. After pressing a few buttons and getting absolutely no responses from the darn thing, she decides that maybe the communicator is broken. Yeah, way to go, sherlock! She berates herself a bit on her clumsiness and attempts to get up. And that is how she got to where she is now, pacing around the place trying to find an exit of some kind.
It's an amusement park for sure.
“Hello? Anyone here?” When nothing answers her call, she shrinks back into her little space she was standing on earlier, away from the water. To say it's unpleasant is truly an understatement. It's not cold, but it's not exactly warm, either. If she manages to get her hands on whoever did this to her, they are going to get a good beating--!!
More like complaining. “Girls? Mamo-chan? Can you guys hear me? Guys? I'm stuck here, and I don't know where I am!” She must have been calling out for them for about a good three minutes or so before she gives up. Or rests her voice, as she claims. She's intensely worried, and it's sort of clouding up her vision, a bit. Big girls don't cry, she tells herself as she tries again, this time consulting the crystal, too. “Guys—can you hear me--? Silver crystal, mother, answer my call--! Teleport me back ho—ahh!”
And with that, she's pulled underwater for some odd reason, and the island she saw earlier engraves itself into her memory, long dispatched in her brain system. There is no air to breathe—this isn't good, she thinks to herself, is it just going to end like this? It was so peaceful earlier! “Gmmrgle--” Bubbles of air rise to the surface, and she's having a hard time keeping the water out of her mouth, nose and ears. Hopefully she'll be able to heal herself—if she makes it out alive—
--and whoosh, the water evapourates, and even though she can feel herself underwater, water no longer fills her nose and mouth. Her ears are clear, too. The pressure is gone, and her eyes flutter open. The sounds are gorgeous and her frown on her face earlier melts into a dazed smile as her surroundings are taken in little by little.
An underwater city. Surely it's not Atlantis, is it?
Whatever it is, it's beautiful.

[ Strengths/Weaknesses ] :
Strengths:
- Fast regenerating skills
- healing powers
- benevolent and generous, as well as kind and innocent
- willingness to sacrifice herself; putting others first.
- Her moon tiara, which can become a spinning razor type of attack in which she throws at things.
- The orb gems which decorates her hair after she transforms, the ornaments can amplify sound if she screams loud enough.
- crybaby
- Creepy crawlies, anyone?
- Prone to getting hurt and being klutzy
- Can't cook to save her life (she burns water)
- Stubborn
- Hard-headed
- No true offensive power
- In terms of being benevolent and generous (as well as being kind and innocent), there are positive aspects to it as well as being a negative aspect. Due to her benevolent nature, her tendency of being whisked away by tricks and being lied to is very likely. Her trusting nature ensures that she believes in the hearts of many, and in the series, she hasn't been let down yet. Therefore, in her defence, her continuous trusting nature has brought about many good things. On the other hand, if she were to encounter something outside of her comfort zone, she will be prone to tricks and the like, and her trusting nature can get her into a heap of trouble for the most part.
- Her willingness to put herself first does seem like a very selfless thing to do, however, on the contrary, in addition to being trusting, she can be pulled into tricks and kept waiting until her 'prince' comes to save her. There isn't a definite aspect of her sacrificial nature, but she loves all her friends and would be willing to take their safety over hers at any given time. This may come out as selfish in a way, but then again, she can't see that, and therefore, it may put others off as being the goody-two-shoes kind of character.
- Her stubbornness and hard-headedness can also deviate to both good aspects as well as the bad. Being stubborn, she works for what she believes in, and doesn't move an inch from her beliefs. This may come off as being difficult and hard to deal with sometimes, but she hasn't encountered any problems as of yet. However, when her stubbornness does get her into trouble, she has a hard time getting away from the trouble which will lead to her asking others for help. Though generally, she is a problem solver and her power comes to her, it may fling her into a state of panic at times.
- Paired off with the previous explanation, she can also be very emotional, and therefore, she will be motivated by her intuition. Thought generally in the right direction, her intuition may be off at times, and when she is guided by her emotions, she can make some rash judgements which in turn will cause her to undergo a state of troublesome chain of events. However, on the flip side, her willingness to listen to her heart makes her a motivator for love and justice, and is very idealistic (which can be good or bad depending on the situation, but otherwise good for the most part). She strives for perfection, on most occasions.
